One year ago, we opened Star MailHub and More with a simple goal: to be ‘the hub’, to be the kind of local store that makes life easier for people who have better things to do than fight with boxes, labels, and paperwork.

Opening a local business is equal parts excitement and chaos. This first year has been a lot of learning, a lot of tape, and a lot of moments where customers reminded us why this work matters.

What We’ve Loved Most

The best part hasn’t been the services. It’s been the people. Regulars who wave on the way in. New customers who walk out relieved. Small business owners who just need a dependable place to handle the “paper and package” side of life.

We’ve built this place to be helpful, straightforward, and trustworthy — and we’ve tried to earn that reputation every single day.

We also want to take a moment to thank the people who make this place work every day. Deborah helped us get off the ground by building relationships with our artisan consignors and shaping the heart of our Artisan Gift Hub Gallery. Jae keeps a thoughtful eye on all things décor and style, making sure the space feels welcoming and intentional. Rhet brings knowledge, patience, and friendliness to every shipping question that comes through the door, and Jon keeps us anchored on Saturdays, making sure customers always get steady, top-notch service. I may be the “captain of the ship,” but this business simply wouldn’t run without this team — and I’m grateful for each of them.
